Guyana's Kaieteur Falls Overland Trip: The Ultimate Adventure!
Fulle article and virtual tours: www.explorationjunkie.com/kaieteur-falls-guyana/
This is a short video showing my independant overland journey from Georgetown all the way to Kaieteur Falls, in Guyana.
Kaieteur Falls is an incredible place and one of the most spectacular spots in South America. I have travelled by land and by boat on the Potaro River to the Falls and stayed 3 mights at the guesthouse.
Apart from the falls, beautiful wildlife is to be seen, in particular the tiny golden dart frog and the showy Guyanese cock-of-the-rock.

    Not sure how I would feel walking around alone in the forest like that lol. It is like Bear Witch Project lol. The accommodations look pretty cool. Really cool to see the bear in its natural element.

  • @RudderlessMedia
    @RudderlessMedia 6 років тому

    Are you sure the bear is gone? Your walking through the forest where you just saw a bear. Lol. I’d be a little nervous going to and from the accommodations. The picture of the woodpecker is cool. Very interesting experience though. Awesome.

    • @Explorationjunkie
      @Explorationjunkie 6 років тому

      Haha nah I was not scared, I bet the bear is very cautious and would run away and hide if it hears humans around.

  • @WorldHeritageJourney

    That's really cool, though I'd be a bit scared to wander around the forest after watching all the bears haha! Was it crowded inside the hide? Looked like space for about 10 people, did it fill up?
